A situation may arise where you need to change your administrator password for your VPS. Here’s a quick walk through to find the settings you need.
Once in your VPS control panel, click on the Configuration tab. In the Software section, you’ll see the Administrator Password and a link to Change.
Click the Change button and a small pop up window will open for you to enter your new password. It must contain at least one upper case letter, one number, and one non alpha-numeric character.
Keep in mind this change can only be made if you leave the default username as “Administrator“. Any changes to the username will remove the ability to change the administrator password. The change may take a few minutes to be provisioned in the VPS settings but that’s all there is to it!
